About Bryan

Bryan Liebert is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with over 30 years of experience guiding organizations through complex security challenges. As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the East US region and Public Sector at World Wide Technology (WWT), he provides strategic leadership in cybersecurity risk management, regulatory compliance, and the development of enterprise security programs. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bryan has played key roles in both the private and public sectors. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta chapter of the Metropolitan Medical Response System and was the communications officer for the Metro Medical Strike Team, where he supported regional emergency preparedness and coordinated response efforts. Bryan's career encompasses leadership of large-scale security initiatives for Fortune 100 companies across various industries, including manufacturing, banking, pharmaceuticals, and retail. His portfolio includes enterprise segmentation programs for organizations with a valuation between $16 billion and $44 billion, as well as cybersecurity oversight during mergers, acquisitions, and digital transformations. He is known for bringing clarity and calm to complexity—aligning business goals with resilient, forward-looking security strategies. A U.S. Army veteran and two-time CISO before joining WWT, Bryan has led national and international cyber-advisory engagements with a focus on scalable, sustainable outcomes. His service during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, where he helped restore critical law enforcement and military communications in Louisiana’s St. Bernard Parish and Gretna, earned him the Medal and Ribbon of Meritorious Service from the Gretna Police Department and a Special Operations Commendation from Operations Security International. He is also recognized for his approachable, results-driven leadership in cybersecurity. His “9-Layer Cybersecurity Program Cake” offers a practical framework for building and managing security programs—widely used by organizations seeking structure, scalability, and clarity in their cybersecurity efforts. Beyond his core responsibilities, Bryan contributes regularly to thought leadership at WWT through articles, briefings, and public events. His work reflects a deep commitment to innovation, mentorship, and advancing resilience across the cybersecurity community.
