About Emily

Emily Brouillet is a Cyber Range Engineer I at World Wide Technology, where she focuses on designing and managing sophisticated cybersecurity training environments. Although she joined WWT in May 2024, she began work in the ATC in May 2025. Since then, Emily has played a key role in developing deep‑dive Capture the Flag (CTF) experiences. This is demonstrated most notably in Infection Core, a lab intentionally crafted to strengthen participants’ reverse engineering and malware analysis capabilities. Driven by a strong interest in uncovering the inner workings of malicious code, Emily specializes in low‑level system analysis and defensive techniques rooted in practical malware behavior understanding. Her work centers on creating authentic simulations of evolving cyber threats, enabling teams to build confidence in incident response, detection, and threat remediation. Emily’s dedication to reverse engineering not only enhances WWT’s Cyber Range offerings but also reflects her commitment to advancing the broader cybersecurity community. She is passionate about developing hands‑on learning experiences that empower others to dissect, understand, and defend against real-world malware. Now, she continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cyber purple team training.
