With backgrounds in both ITSM and Business Process Improvement from his days in the USAF, Jason contributed his skills to WWT over three years ago when he joined WWT's Supply Chain. His focus on OpEx, process efficiency and effectiveness, and Change Management, contributed to program successes and the identification for strategic enhancements to enterprise tools. Jason even designed a Proof-of-Concept, Andon Dashboard that would aid in the OTD of integrated goods through Visual Management and the reduction of idle time between functional team hand-offs. His Value-Stream Mapping exercises have helped identify process, system, and communication gaps, as well as contribute to better team clarity and alignment. Jason's education brings to bear a Masters In ITM, a Comptia Security+ Certification, and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Additionally, he performed as a professional saxophonist for the USAF, playing for presidents, heads of state, and traveling to 13 countries on 4 continents in his 20 years. Seemingly disjunct, Jason leverages his musical experience in team facilitation exercises, drawing on thousands of rehearsal and performance hours where members follow the guidance of the conductor, execute their part with precision and care, blend with others in their and other sections, and understand the role they play in the orchestration at any given time within the piece. He applies these principles to Business Process Improvement through collaborative mapping sessions and meetings. Jason utilizes his creativity, understanding of group dynamics, analytical perspective and intellectual curiosity to draw out the best from the teams he facilitates. His customer-focused perspective and active listening encourages team members to engage and exploit the opportunity to fix their own problems through process analysis, documentation, Root Cause Analysis, Countermeasure Ideation and transition planning.
