A practicing emergency physician turned CIO, Lee brings 25+ years of healthcare and IT experience and has led successful healthcare initiatives many times over, from business case and strategy through governance, selection, and implementation. As CIO of Asante Health System, he led Epic EHR implementation and planning for major hospital and cancer center expansion. As SVP and CIO of SimonMed Imaging, he modernized technology across 180+ sites in multiple states. Lee founded Asbury HealthTech Partners, a physician-led, vendor-neutral advisory firm specializing in IT governance, enterprise imaging, and AI readiness. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics, a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO), and remains clinically active, serving veterans on occasion through Tele-Emergency Medicine with the VA.
