Matthew Abernathy is a Business Development Manager at WWT, specializing in Cloud & Infrastructure. He is an Oracle Cloud Practice/Partnership leader, focusing on enterprise cloud strategy, infrastructure modernization, data platforms, and hybrid/multicloud architectures. Matthew is experienced in aligning cloud, compute, storage, networking, database, and data/AI capabilities with business outcomes, with particular depth in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and enterprise Oracle environments. He is OCI Architect Associate certified, with additional expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, data center infrastructure, and cloud economics/FinOps. He has authored insightful pieces such as "The AI Data War: Winning the Battle for Enterprise Data Supremacy" and "Reflections from Oracle AI World 2025," showcasing his expertise in AI and cloud strategies. He most recently created and delivered a webinar titled: "Run AI where you want...just do it right." An insight piece on ensuring customers understand the cost implications of migrating their Oracle workloads to Cloud for AI initiatives. Matthew has a long history in technology with an array of industry experience. He most enjoys solving customer business problems with innovative technology and services.
