Michael Sink serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Higher Education at World Wide Technology (WWT). In this capacity, he spearheads strategic initiatives, driving innovation and transformation to deliver bespoke solutions tailored to the unique needs of higher education institutions. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Michael has consistently demonstrated his ability to leverage both established and emerging technologies to address the diverse challenges faced by organizations across various sectors, including Higher Education, Banking, Insurance, Distribution, and Health Care. Since joining WWT in January 2022, Michael has been instrumental in advancing the company's thought leadership in the higher education sector. Prior to his tenure at WWT, Michael held pivotal roles in academia, including Associate Vice President and Deputy CIO at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he played a key role in shaping the vision for technology services to accelerate UCF IT's transformation. His prior leadership experience also included serving as Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at the University of South Florida (USF). Michael's influence in higher education is further underscored by his service on the Board of Directors for the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) and as a Board Member for Florida LambdaRail (FLR). Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from North Carolina State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Residing in Orlando, Florida, with his family, Michael enjoys the vibrant offerings of the area.
