Currently located in SW Florida, Rich has over 45 years of technical experience and has held several specialities over that period including ERP Systems administrator, Disaster Recovery and Buisness Continuance Architect, Storage Architect, Trainer for Cisco UCS and MDC FC Switches, Holds a patent in FC storage technology, Innovation around Block and File Storage and for the last 15+ years has been focused primarly on Object Storage private cloud solutions to help advise customers on the best solutions for them. Rich has taken WWT's "Kepner Tregoe" process to the next level. KepnerTregoe is used to help take bias out of the technical decision making process. Rich uses this process when performing full scale POC's for the customer to help ensure that the customer selects the product best for them and their organization. Along with being an SME for Object Storage, Rich also helps customers in areas that utilize object storage, such as GFS (Global File Server) and Data Fabric Solutions. Rich often times assists customers in creating and executing proof of concept (POC) test plans and performing at scale performance testing and providing those results in an easy to digest manner with the ability to compare solutions in an apples to apples way. Rich maintains and provides market landscape information to our customers that show which products are getting the most traction with our customers and why. Rich currently helps customers with such Object solutions such as; NetApp StorageGRID, DELL ECS, Vast Data, Pure Flasblade, MinIO, Scale I/O, IBM COS, and Cloudian along with GFS solutions such as CTERA, Panzura, and Nasuni. During his off hours he enjoys, playing cards, spending time with friends and family and enjoying a good game of Euchre. He currently lives on the CaloosaHatchee River and enjoys fishing and just enjoying the river wildlife on the occasional "cocktail cruise".
