As Senior Vice President, Finance, Yota Skederidis oversees Softchoice's comprehensive financial management functions, including finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, and tax. With over 20 years of experience in various leadership finance roles at both public and private organizations, Yota brings a wealth of expertise to her position.

Yota joined Softchoice in 2011 as Senior Manager, Finance, advanced to Director of Finance in 2013, was appointed VP, Financial Reporting and Tax in 2018, and served as Interim Chief Financial Officer from September 2022 to May 2023. Throughout her tenure at Softchoice, Yota has implemented best practice finance processes to enhance the quality and integrity of financial reporting. She has been responsible for Softchoice's controllership and financial reporting activities, encompassing corporate finance, revenue management, accounting, tax, risk management, and internal controls.

Before joining Softchoice, Yota held various financial roles at Celestica Inc., SMTC Manufacturing Corporation, Genesis Microchip Inc., and Longo Brothers Fruit Market Inc. She holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University.
