Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Readiness Workshop

What to Expect

This workshop is designed to bridge the technical and executive divide, ensuring alignment from the top down.

CISOs, CIOs, and Enterprise Architects: Seeking to understand the business and technical impact of the quantum threat.

Security, Risk, and Compliance Leaders: Responsible for long-term data protection and regulatory alignment.

Innovation and Transformation Executives: Exploring how to future-proof AI, OT, and data-centric systems against next-generation threats.

Technical Practitioners and Program Leads: Tasked with building or modernizing encryption, identity, and network architectures.

  • Raise Awareness: Demystify post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and explain why it has become a pillar of cybersecurity strategy, not a niche concern.
  • Define the Business Imperative: Position PQC planning as an executive-level priority tied to enterprise resilience, trust, and long-term value protection.
  • Assess Readiness: Identify where and how current encryption methods are used across applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Develop a Roadmap: Build a practical action plan to transition to quantum-safe algorithms and architectures aligned with NIST standards.
  • Empower Leadership: Equip decision-makers with the language and frameworks to communicate PQC strategy to boards, regulators, and customers.

Goals & Objectives

The core goal of this intensive workshop is to transform the abstract quantum threat into a prioritized, actionable enterprise resilience program. We aim to define the business imperative by positioning Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) readiness as a critical executive-level priority tied directly to long-term enterprise trust and data protection. We will demystify the quantum threat—including the "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" risk—and equip decision-makers with the concise language to empower communication to boards, customers, and regulators. Finally, we will assess and benchmark readiness by identifying cryptographic dependencies and collaboratively develop a clear crypto-agility roadmap for the phased transition to NIST-selected algorithms.

Benefits

Attendees realize significant value by receiving a completed WWT PQC Readiness Scorecard to objectively benchmark current maturity across governance, inventory, and remediation. This process provides clear insight into how PQC becomes a critical pillar of cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the long-term protection of sensitive intellectual property and regulated records. The workshop yields a high-level, customized action plan for stakeholder engagement to address the transformation choreography around post-quantum cryptography. Participants gain critical knowledge on the Hybrid Mode strategy and learn how to de-risk the entire transition process with simulation using the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC) to validate complex scenarios.
