Our EMEA region hosted the "Rising Together: Allyship & Resilience Day," a transformative event aimed at empowering women in technology. The day was filled with authentic career journeys and real-world experiences, focusing on strengthening allyship by engaging men in meaningful conversations about advocacy and support. We celebrated career resilience through thought-provoking discussions, interactive breakout sessions and valuable networking opportunities. A heartfelt thank you to our partners and customers, including Arrow, Barclays, HSBC, Dell and F5, who actively participated in our panels.
Empowering Women in LATAM: Partnership with Red Men-TE
In Costa Rica, we proudly launched a meaningful partnership with Red Men-TE and its Employability Boost initiative in Costa Rica. This empowering program is designed to equip women with the skills needed to thrive in high-demand STEM fields. Engaging 60 participants from Red Men-TE and the Ideas en Acción National Network of Women in Technology, the program offers cutting-edge training in data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital mobility through WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC). Beyond technical skills, participants benefit from career-readiness support, including workshops on resume building, mock interviews and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
STEMVentures: Building Tomorrow's Tech Leaders in Bangalore
In India, WWT, in partnership with Kalisu NGO, hosted "STEMVentures: Building Tomorrow's Tech Leaders" in Bangalore. This full-day immersive workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity engaged 60 students from SHVNM Government Girls Pre-University College. The day featured engaging sessions on AI and cybersecurity, hands-on chatbot coding exercises, and insightful discussions. The students' energy and curiosity were inspiring, and the workshop marked the beginning of a journey to empower young minds with the knowledge and confidence to become tomorrow's technology leaders.
Next Horizon: AI, People & Progress - A Collaborative Event
In Singapore, our LEAD & RISE ERG teams, in collaboration with Women of Cisco, hosted "Next Horizon: AI, People & Progress," which focused on AI's evolving impact on people and progress.
