What Is Army GEMSS Triage?
Army GEMSS Triage is a specialized support process designed to rapidly assess, prioritize, and resolve Cisco technology issues across the United States Army enterprise. When a problem arises, triage connects your team with Cisco experts who collaborate directly with Army IT staff to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
Triage support includes:
- Rapid Response – Fast engagement to minimize downtime and mission impact
- Expert Guidance – Access to Cisco operations managers and engineers
- Tailored Support – Prioritization based on urgency, scope, and mission needs
How to Request Triage support
Submitting a triage request is simple and designed to get help to you quickly:
- Identify the Issue
Gather details about the Cisco technology problem affecting your environment. - Access the Army GEMSS Community Page
Navigate to the Advanced Services tab and select Fill Out Triage Request Form. - Complete the Triage Request Form
Provide:- Problem description
- Affected serial numbers
- Clearance level required
- Support type area
- Impacted technology area
- Submit Your Request
Send the completed form to the Army GEMSS Triage Team. - Attend the Weekly Triage Meeting
You will receive an invitation to the Wednesday triage support request meeting, where additional details are gathered and the level of effort is scoped.
Triage requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so early submission is strongly encouraged.
Why timing matters
The Army GEMSS contract year is nearing its end, which means your available triage weeks must be used soon.
- Immediate action is recommended to resolve outstanding issues
- Early April 2026 is expected to be the last opportunity for triage support under this contract year
