Shaping Tomorrow Together: The Power of Schneider Electric and WWT's Partnership
As a member of the graduating class of the World Wide Technology Associate Academy Cohort 5, I've had the opportunity over the past year to learn about WWT's unique go-to-market strategy, get my hands on leading technology in our Advanced Technology Center (ATC), work directly with clients, and see first-hand how partnerships help WWT make a new world happen. Our partnerships with leading technology and services companies allow us to innovate together and deliver state-of-the-art technology solutions to our clients. A great example of this partner dynamic was presented during our much-anticipated graduation week with WWT facilities infrastructure (FIT) partner, Schneider Electric.
Earlier this month, during the much-anticipated Graduation Week for Cohort 5 in St. Louis, we had the awesome opportunity to visit Schneider Electric's Innovation Executive Briefing Center (IEBC). This visit was an eye-opener, revealing how Schneider Electric is not merely keeping pace with the industry but actively shaping its future. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that their representatives are deeply committed to building a world where technology and energy work in harmony to deliver tangible results for their customers.
Schneider Electric's forward-thinking approach is particularly evident in its vision for artificial intelligence (AI) and energy management strategies tailored for today's highly modernized data center environments. Whether optimizing cooling systems or reimagining rack casing designs to meet the demands of AI hardware, Schneider is clearly anticipating the next wave of technological evolution. This is particularly important to WWT because our Facility Infrastructure Team shared that EVERY single AI project they have engaged with to date has required some form of power/cooling/energy management upgrade to make the overall project even possible for our customers.
What truly stood out was their proactive mindset: Schneider Electric is not waiting for the future to arrive—they are engineering it. In doing so, they are redefining what it means to be an energy partner in the age of AI. Companies like Schneider are evolving from traditional utility providers into strategic collaborators, helping businesses navigate the complex intersection of energy management, sustainability, and intelligent systems.
For those of us who have gone through World Wide Technology's Associate Academy, the key takeaway was simple yet powerful: connect the customer with Schneider. Their team is not only equipped with cutting-edge solutions, but is also genuinely eager to engage. They are keen to understand the unique challenges each customer faces and work collaboratively to solve them. This partnership model feels both modern and essential in today's rapidly evolving tech landscape.
