Solution Overview

Akkadian Provisioning Manager (APM), from Akkadian Labs (a Cisco Preferred Solution Provider), automates and streamlines provisioning for Cisco Collaboration. Manual provisioning across multiple Unified Communications applications, servers and clusters is time-consuming and subject to errors or inconsistencies, often requiring rework. Akkadian's easy-to-use, turnkey solution streamlines Cisco Collaboration administration by automating workflows for moves, adds, changes and deletes. Get simple, fast and secure provisioning of users across multiple Cisco UC applications from a single pane of glass.

APM can be natively integrated to Active Directory (AD) to further streamline provisioning and offer a “zero-touch” provisioning model. With our REST API you can integrate into applications, such as ServiceNow, to provide this same type of “zero-touch” model. APM includes additional robust tools, such as: Remote Phone Control, Visual Phone Editor, Phone Swap and Batch Provisioning.

Goals & Objectives

This lab will walk you through the on-boarding and off-boarding of a new user that requires a phone, voicemail and Jabber. The lab includes the following:

  • Log-in as help-desk and administrative user
  • On-board and off-board user
  • See phone status, applications services and Directory Number (DN) management and usage
  • Manipulate phone template through Visual Phone Editor
  • See job archive and drill-down
  • Utilize end-user Self-Services
  • Additional demonstrations are available upon request
