About this learning path
This learning path covers migrating from VMware to Azure using Azure Migrate. It will go through the steps to create an Azure Migrate project in the Azure Portal and provide an overview of the migration assessment tools available in Azure Migrate Hub.

Prerequisites
- Before starting this learning path, you should have a basic understanding of VMware vSphere environments, access to a VMware vCenter with administrative privileges
- An active Azure subscription with appropriate permissions
- A fundamental knowledge of networking concepts such as firewalls, subnets, and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments
- Architecture of your Azure Environment such as Virtual Network, Subnets, Resource Groups & Azure Bastion
- Additionally, ensure you have the ability to deploy virtual appliances in your VMware environment and outbound internet connectivity for the Azure Migrate appliance.
