Recently, the UK Associate Academy had the opportunity to welcome one of WWT's Advantage Partners, Nutanix, into the office for an in-depth and highly engaging enablement session. The day was designed to deepen our understanding of Nutanix as a business, explore its history, and gain clarity on what Nutanix can offer within today's technology landscape.

The UK Associate Academy is extremely fortunate to take part in a wide range of Partner of the Month initiatives throughout the year. These sessions give apprentices direct exposure to WWT's partner ecosystem, allowing them to learn first-hand about partner offerings, industry trends, and real customer use cases. They also play a key role in strengthening relationships with partners while helping apprentices better understand how World Wide Technology works alongside its partners to deliver meaningful impact across different industries.

The session began with a comprehensive overview of Nutanix's journey and evolution within the industry. This provided valuable insight into how the company has grown and adapted over time, helping us better understand its core strengths and strategic direction.

The Associate Academy also spent time looking at current industry trends and the real challenges customers are facing as they rethink their IT environments. Nutanix showed clearly how their solutions help customers become more agile, scalable, and resilient, which really highlighted how well their portfolio fits within WWT's wider offering.

One of the standout parts of the day was the focus on collaboration between Nutanix and World Wide Technology. We spoke about how combining Nutanix's technology with WWT's consulting, design, and delivery capabilities allows us to provide more tailored, end-to-end solutions for customers. Seeing how closely the two organisations align really brought the partnership to life and showed the value of working together.

This slide shows that Nutanix isn't just one product — it's a full platform that can support multiple areas of a business, from core infrastructure like VMs, containers and storage, to security, disaster recovery, hybrid multi-cloud management, automation and even AI integration. The reason this works so well with WWT is because we can wrap our consulting, design and delivery around it, helping customers build the right solution and then implement and manage it end-to-end.

From a development perspective, the session was particularly impactful. We were able to complete two sales enablement accreditations (Nutanix Accredited - Infrastructure &  Nutanix Basics) and two technical accreditations (Nutanix: Sizing Professionals & Nutanix: Accredited Professionals), strengthening both our commercial awareness and technical understanding. Gaining these certifications was a valuable opportunity and has better equipped us to engage confidently with customers and partners moving forward.

A big thank you goes to Alan Synnott and Ludmilla Dias from Nutanix, who gave up their time to deliver the session. Their knowledge, clarity, and willingness to engage made the day both informative and enjoyable.

We were also treated to lunch with the Nutanix team, which was a great opportunity to connect with them in a more informal setting and continue conversations beyond the session itself.

Overall, this was an invaluable experience and a great example of the strength of the partnership between Nutanix and WWT. Days like this play a key role in developing our knowledge, building relationships, and ensuring we continue to deliver value across our partner ecosystem.
