Explore the hidden dangers of prompt injection in Large Language Models (LLMs). This lab reveals how attackers manipulate LLMs to disclose private information and behave in ways that they were not intended to. Discover the intricacies of direct and indirect prompt injection and learn to implement effective guardrails.

This lab will go into the basics of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) through hands on access to a dedicated environment.

In the current AI market, the demand for scalable and secure deployments is increasing. Public cloud providers (AWS, Google, and Microsoft) are competing to provide GenAI infrastructure, driving the need for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployments. However, distributed deployments come with challenges, including: Complexity in managing multi-cloud environments. Lack of unified visibility across clouds. Inconsistent security and policy enforcement. F5 Distributed Cloud provides a solution by offering a seamless, secure, and portable environment for GenAI workloads across clouds. This lab will guide you through setting up and securing GenAI applications with F5 Distributed Cloud on AWS EKS and GCP GKE.

The Everpure FlashBlade family is an elastic scale out file and object, all flash storage solution that gives customers an advanced data-hub approach to managing their data. WWT has partnered with Everpure to provide this lab giving access to the Purity//FB operating environment on FlashBlade//S and FlashBlade//E hardware in the Advanced Technology Center. This lab showcases Everpure's RapidFile Toolkit that supercharges common Linux operating system commands running against NFS File Shares on the FlashBlade.

Rubrik is a cloud data management and data security platform that focuses on much more than data backups. This lab provides a foundational overview of basic configuration tasks, implementation of objects, protection and recovery of VMware Virtual Machines, and SQL Databases, as well as an overview of Rubrik Reporting using Rubrik Security Cloud.

Helping customers modernize their environment and giving them access to experience next generation data center tools as they evaluate solutions in the WWT Advanced Technology Center has been at the front of WWT's go to market since we started the ATC. Pure Storage Pure1®, with its cloud-connected capabilities, has to lead the way in enabling IT teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and respond faster to business needs. This lab will explore Pure1 and also give users access to Pure's innovative approach to gaining end to end knowledge of a VMware environment from the Virtual Machine back to the storage it lives on. VM Analytics is a free software deployment from Pure Storage that works as part of the Pure1 Management Suite of software. VM Analytics is now available and can be experienced in WWT's ATC.

Get hands-on with Kong AI Gateway — the control plane between your applications and LLMs. Across ten guided modules, configure authentication, token budgets, prompt governance, load balancing, failover, MCP tool access control, and declarative config as code. No application changes are required beyond pointing your app at a new base URL.

WWT's ATC Palo Alto Cortex XDR Proving Ground Lab provides a consolidated solution built around Cortex XDR, the Palo Alto firewall, Windows endpoints and Windows servers to demonstrate how the Cortex XDR Agent protects against threats. The goal of Cortex XDR is to increase the operational efficiency of the security operations center. Cortex XDR accomplishes this by reducing alerts by combining similar events, stitching together logs from different sources and preventing as many threats as possible early in the attack cycle. Cortex XDR goes beyond the traditional EDR approach of using only endpoint data to identify and respond to threats by applying machine learning across all your enterprise, network, cloud and endpoint data. This approach enables you to quickly find and stop targeted attacks, insider abuse and remediate compromised endpoints. Cortex XDR combines functionality from Endpoint Protection, Endpoint Detection and Response, Network Traffic Analysis and User Behavior Analytics into a single console. This lab consists of servers running common applications that include Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Palo Alto VM-Series firewall, Active Directory, Windows IIS and SQL server, and several Windows 11 workstations. You will access the environment using a Windows-based jump host from which you can browse web consoles and open RDP/SSH sessions.

This lab, offfers a hands-on environment where participants will implement a unified DNS and IPAM architecture across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. Using Infoblox Universal DDI as a central control plane, the lab guides users through synchronizing DNS and IP configurations across AWS & Azure cloud infrastructures.
