NSX on ACI Lab

Many customers have asked about Cisco ACI versus VMware NSX in the past. Now, many customers are asking how do we utilize or integrate both together. This lab will allow you to explore a live NSX on ACI environment to see how they are configured to work together. 

The lab will allow you to explore the ACI and NSX configurations. Example configurations are showing both single and double overlay application deployments as well. 

The goal of this lab is to familiarize you with the NSX on ACI design options. In this lab, you will explore:

• ACI Fabric policies to support NSX
• ACI Tenant policies to support NSX
• NSX Manager and fabric configuration
• NSX Routing and Switch to support ACI
• vCenter configuration for NSX on ACI
• Single overlay application design
• Double overlay application design

The current NSX on ACI environment uses the following hardware and software:

• Cisco Nexus 9332C Spine
• Cisco Nexus 93180YC-FX Leaf Switches
• Cisco ACI 5.0
• VMware vSphere ESXi 7.0
• VMware vCenter 7.0
• NSX-T 3.1
