Solution Overview

The Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) has many key differentiators, including:

  • Single Pass Parallel Architecture: Architecture classifies and controls traffic in a “single pass” through the firewall using a variety of stream-based technology components.
Integrated Platform: Instantly find and stop attacks with a fully automated platform that simplifies security.
  • Stay on the Cutting Edge: Replace disconnected tools with tightly integrated innovations, like the new DNS Security service.
  • DNS Security: Only NGFW to have built in DNS Security service as part of policy.
  • Best Practice Toolsets: Automated tools and resources that help you adopt industry best practices so you can thwart attacks in their tracks.
  • Coordinate Across the Network and Cloud: Next-Generation Firewall tightly integrates with WildFire and Traps to broaden the perspective for endpoint attacks. Protections and awareness are automatically distributed in just minutes to all next-generation firewalls and Traps-protected endpoints.
  • Palo Alto Networks Enterprise ELA: Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall ELA gives you a flexible licensing pool for all your network security requirements in a single agreement.
