NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPU

The NVIDIA BlueField-4 is an 800Gb/s infrastructure platform for gigascale AI factories. Delivering six times the compute of its predecessor and featuring accelerations for networking, data storage, and cybersecurity, it unlocks new levels of performance, efficiency, and scale for AI infrastructure. Supported by a growing ecosystem of applications, BlueField-4 enables service providers and enterprises to deliver secure multi-tenant networking, rapid data access, real-time threat detection, and high-performance inference.

Storage Processor

NVIDIA BlueField-4 STX

The NVIDIA BlueField-4 STX storage processor is purpose-built to power AI storage platforms with accelerated AI-native data movement and in-silicon security, boosting throughput, efficiency, and scalability for next-generation AI infrastructure. Combining the NVIDIA Vera CPU and NVIDIA ConnectX-9 networking, the storage processor serves as a storage-side CPU and data-path engine, orchestrating data access, metadata processing, and secure storage services directly in the I/O path

STX-based platforms based on BlueField-4 are expected to be available from partners in the second half of 2026.

The NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU is a 400Gb/s infrastructure compute platform with line-rate processing of software-defined networking, storage, and cybersecurity functions. BlueField-3 combines powerful computing, high-speed networking, and extensive programmability to deliver software-defined, hardware-accelerated solutions for the most demanding workloads. From accelerated AI to hybrid cloud, high-performance computing to 5G wireless networks, client-side data access to efficient storage arrays, BlueField-3 redefines the art of the possible.

NVIDIA DOCA™ is the unified software platform that unlocks the full potential of BlueField DPUs for agentic AI infrastructure. It provides production-ready microservices, SDKs, and orchestration frameworks across networking, AI-native storage, in-silicon security, observability, and lifecycle management. DOCA and BlueField give developers the software building blocks to build and operate infrastructure services — networking, security, and storage — that scale across the most demanding agentic AI factory environments
