The Roadmap to TIC 3.0 Ep. 2: TIC 3.0 and the Telework Transformation

While the pandemic might have swept in the era of mass telework, as vaccines promise an end to pandemic restrictions, it's unlikely that agencies and organizations everywhere will return to the largely in-office operations they were before March 2020. And while many agencies were able to transition to remote work nearly overnight, the struggle to optimize and secure networks for remote workers is still ongoing.

Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access: Secure Branch (SASE Lab Series)

Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), coined by Gartner in 2019, is a solution that blends networking and security into cloud scale architecture that optimizes end user performance and improves security for an organization. Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access is a SASE solution that combines edge networking, domain name system (DNS) enforcement, firewall as a service (FWaaS), and secure web gateway (SWG) capabilities to connect, protect and secure remote offices and users. The SASE Lab Series will look to explore the capabilities of the solution to provide you with a "rubber meets road" understanding of these technologies and how SASE can be applied in your company.

Zero Trust

Zscaler Zero Trust Lab

Zscaler is responsible for securing more than 400 of the Forbes Global 2000 companies. They provide security as a service delivered through a purpose-built, globally distributed platform. The focus of this lab is zero trust access utilizing a solution known as Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). ZPA is a cloud service that provides seamless, zero trust access to private applications running on public cloud or within the data center. With ZPA, applications don't need to be exposed to the internet, making them completely invisible to unauthorized users. This service enables the applications to connect to users via inside-out connectivity versus extending the network to them. It disrupts legacy approaches to remote access such as traditional VPN, establishing per-service dynamic encryption and trust evaluation.

Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Workshop

Most current enterprises today were designed with the data center as center of gravity for access. Digital transformation has seen a movement of these local workflows to the cloud, and businesses have shifted to a workforce that is much more mobile in nature and need to be able to work anywhere. Network security models that are based on yesterday's architecture are no longer sufficient to provide secure, consistent connectivity for users that can be anywhere accessing workloads living anywhere. This workshop explores how Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) can meet the needs of the modern digital world.
