This lab provides users access to Nokia's Altiplano Access Controller for managing Passive Optical Networks (PON). It gives users access to a live network while providing an overview of Altiplano Access Controller and its applications.

This lab covers the fundamentals of ISIS routing on Nokia's Service Router Operating System (SR-OS).

This lab utilizes Nokia's Network Functions Manager for Transport to demonstrate how to add nodes, followed by commissioning the optical nodes using their design file and then building Infrastructure Trails that would carry customer traffic. It concludes by demonstrating the decommissioning and uninstall of the Infrastructure Trails and Nodes.

With innovative, modular, open plug-and-play capabilities, the Infinera Groove G30 can be customized for any required application based on the installation of specific modules and pluggables into the common chassis. Infinera supports a wide range of modules for DWDM transmission, muxponder, and transponder applications. Open Line System (OLS) applications are enabled with optical multiplexer structures, amplifiers and additional active optical layer functions such as protection switching, and integrated OTDR.

This lab demonstrates the flexibility when combining two different platforms to carry routed traffic directly over an optical line system. Nokia's 1830 PSI-8L serves as the open line system with Cisco's NCS-57C3 acting as the "Alien" device. In a seamless operation, a 400G alien wave will be created across the PSI-8L CDC architecture to carry data between the NCS using ZR+ pluggable coherent optics.

This lab demonstrates the Nokia Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) to IP solution using Nokia 7705 Service Aggregation Router platform.
