About Joe
Joe Berger leads the Digital Experiences practice at World Wide Technology, sitting at the intersection of AI, human experience, and enterprise technology — across three pillars: Employee Experience, Customer Experience, and Application Development & Data Platforms. His team's work spans workforce AI, contact center transformation, end-user computing, unified communications, observability, and app modernization, with key partnerships across Microsoft, Cisco, NVIDIA, and Glean. Joe is currently focused on building go-to-market frameworks for WWT's AI-Native Engineering practice — including work with emerging platforms like Cognition (Devin/Windsurf) — where his perspective is clear: the question isn't whether AI changes how software gets built, but how fast enterprises can get ahead of it.
His path to WWT runs 20+ years through digital transformation — starting in unified communications and collaboration, through the end-user computing era, with stops at InterCall and West IP Communications before joining WWT in 2013. Along the way, Joe has keynoted at Microsoft Ignite and WebexOne, contributed to CRN, WIRED, CIO.com, and Forrester, and published 60+ pieces on the WWT platform. The throughline throughout his career has been consistent: the best technology strategy is one you can actually explain — to engineers and executives alike.
Outside of WWT, Joe serves on the board of Pedal the Cause, a St. Louis nonprofit funding cancer research through fundraising events. A proud IU Bloomington alum (class of '01), he is based in St. Louis. For those exploring AI-driven employee or customer experiences, AI-native engineering, or emerging AI GTM strategy, Joe is an engaged and well-connected thought leader worth knowing.
